V rámci festivalu NethWorks.cz představí nizozemský spisovatel Peter de Knegt své biograficky laděné vyprávění o vztahu jeho otce s českou Židovkou z koncentračního tábora. Kniha s názvem Olinka, přátelství, které začalo za války je rekapitulací letitého přátelství pražské židovky Olgy Minichové, internované za války v koncentračním táboře v Hamburku, a mladého muže Brama, trávícího válku v témže městě na nucených pracích. Zároveň dokumentuje, co všechno je potřeba rozkrýt, když se ze současné doby vypravíme objevovat životní dramata válečné generace.
Peter de Knegt se narodil v roce 1946, téměř devět měsíců po návratu jeho otce Brama z Německa. Navázal na tento příběh přátelství, který začal ve válce, mezi ním a dcerou Olgy - Hanou. Knihu představí Helena Klímová, prezentaci bude přítomen přímo Peter de Knegt a ukázky přečte dcera hlavní hrdinky Hana Králová. Představení knihy bude zpestřeno hudebním doprovodem paní Jahodové, harfenistky orchestru Šarbilach.

Dutch writer Peter de Knegt will within the NethWorks.cz 2010 festival introduce his partially biographical story about a relationship between his father and a Czech Jewish girl whom his father met at a concentration camp. The book called Olinka - Friendship that began during the War is a reconstruction of a long-lasting friendship between a Jewish girl from Prague, called Olga Minichová, who was interned at the concentration camp in Hamburg during the war, and a young man, Bram, who spent the war in the same city where he was doing forced labour. At the same time, the book documents what is to be unveiled when we set off to discover the life dramas of the war generation from a present point of view.
Peter de Knegt was born in 1946, nearly 9 months after his father Bram had returned from Germany. The author himself became friends with Olga’s daughter, Hana, and thus he continued in this story of the friendship that had already begun during the War. The book will be introduced by Helena Klímová, extracts from the book will be read by Hana Králová, the main character´s daughter. The author, Peter de Knegt, will also be present. The introduction of the book will be accompanied by music.
