Nico Heilijgers (1964) vystudoval umění na akademii Minerva v Groningenu. Používá tradiční styl klasických holandských malířů. Maluje především zátiší, aranžmá ovoce, květin, keramiky, váz a tkanin. Jeho práce se soustředí na kompozici, formu a detail v naturalistickém stylu.

Nico Heilijgers (1964) studied art at the academy Minerva in Groningen. He works in the old tradition of the classic Dutch painters.
Especially in his still live paintings, arrangements of fruits, flowers, pots, vases and fabrics, there's a lot of attention to the composition, form and detail in a soft naturalistic style.
